TravelHistoryTool

Your travel history, sorted for Form N‑400 or UK ILR

Drop in booking emails, screenshots, passport stamps or your Google Maps Timeline. We read the dates and give you one list of every trip, most recent first, with your days outside counted.

How it works

  1. 1

    Add what you have

Paste booking emails or drop in screenshots, PDFs and spreadsheets. Add passport stamp photos, marked beta, or records you already have from CBP. You can also scan a QR code to send files from your phone. Each upload accepts up to 20 files, at up to 10 MB each.

  2. 2

    Check the suggested trips

We combine records into one list and show the source of each row. Missing returns and conflicting dates appear in yellow. Tap Looks right or Edit after checking the original. Select the N-400 or UK ILR view to see the relevant dates and day totals.

  3. 3

    Preview, then export

Read all results and the complete watermarked preview for free. A one-time payment of $6.99 buys five PDF exports. You receive an unlock code after payment. No registration or subscription. Download the finished PDF or receive it by email; our stored copy is deleted after 24 hours.

Questions

What can I use to rebuild my travel history?
Start with booking emails, boarding pass screenshots, PDFs or spreadsheets. Passport stamp photos are also supported in beta. Add I-94 or CBP FOIA records if you already have them. You do not need to sort the documents first. The tool reads dates and suggests trips. You check whether each trip happened and whether its dates are right. Blurry stamps and changed bookings need particular attention.
Which travel lists does the tool make?
Choose the U.S. N-400 view or the UK ILR view. The N-400 list shows departure from the United States, return to the United States and countries visited. The UK list records time away from the UK and a reason for each absence. The same source material can help with either view, but check the country whose border dates you are reviewing. See how we calculate days.
What happens when records disagree?
The tool highlights the row in yellow so you can compare the dates. A missing return stays unresolved until you supply or confirm it. A booking is evidence of a planned journey, so check it against what happened. Choose Looks right when the suggested row matches your records, or Edit to change it. Keep your originals available while reviewing; a suggested match is not a verified trip.
What can I see before paying?
You can see the full trip list, calculated results and complete watermarked PDF preview without paying. Review the dates and page layout there. The $6.99 pack covers five PDF exports and has no subscription. Payment gives you an unlock code, with no account to create. It pays for exports from this website; it does not pay a government application fee or buy an immigration assessment.
What happens to my uploaded files and trip list?
Uploaded files go to our server so we can read the dates. We delete those files as soon as that reading is complete. The editable trip list is stored only in your browser. A finished PDF contains the list and is stored for 24 hours for download and email, then deleted. Copies you download or receive in your inbox remain under your control.
Do you upload my Google Maps Timeline?
No. The Timeline import reads your export in your browser without uploading the Timeline file. Any trips you include in a finished PDF appear in that PDF, which follows our 24-hour storage policy. This is different from document uploads, which use our server to read dates. Our Google Maps Timeline guide explains how to export the file and check gaps before using the suggested trips.
What if I cannot find my old border records?
You can start with the documents you still have and leave missing dates unresolved. For U.S. records, our CBP FOIA guide explains the official request route and its limits. A blank period in the tool only means your supplied material does not cover it. It does not establish that you stayed in one country. Compare your list with older passports and completed travel records.
Who runs this, and is it legal advice?
TravelHistoryTool is run by one person. TravelHistoryTool is independent, self-service software for organizing travel records and calculating day totals. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal or immigration advice. We are not affiliated with USCIS, CBP, the UK Home Office, or any government agency. Calculations and exports do not determine eligibility and are not a substitute for the advice of an attorney or regulated immigration adviser. Check every date against your own records before you use an export.
